ALEXANDER MCQUEEN "JOAN" COLLECTION FALL 1998.

Guys, I've gotten deeper and deeper in Alexandra Mcqueen, being honest I've never really started to analyze his designs like I've done lately, and I really get more and more in love with them.


So... in my obssesion with him, now I want to talk about his collection "Joan" Fall 1998...

Alexander McQueen AW 1998 “Joan”

This collection was inspired by the murders of Joan of Arc and of the Romano family. The show took on a dark and sinister feeling. 
The models had peroxide blonde hair worn in medieval-inspired styles and blood-red contact lenses. The collection was by itself tough and tailored.

The show ended with a model wearing a beaded red dress and her face was covered by it.
The model was encircled in a ring of fire that was reference to Joan of Arc whe was burned a the stake. 

I love it!
